If you want to do a simple test of your website. Dropbox is a good place to do that.
Reason:
1. you do not need to know the server
2. the website just in your public folder

How to do it:
1. make a folder under your Dropbox Public Folder （say: TestWeb）
2. copy your website folder under TestWeb
3. chose your index.html under /DropBox/TestWeb/
4. right click and choose Dropbox option, Dropbox-->copy public link
5. send this link to your friend, let him visit your website !! enjoy !!
